Odisha: Labour Board Joins Hands with HDFC Bank to Roll out Fleet Card Management Solutions

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Building & Other Construction Workers Welfare Board (OB & OCWW) in association with HDFC Bank implemented fleet card management solutions for hassle free fuelling of the vehicles used by Labour welfare board.

This is one of its kind Technology which eradicated use of cash for filling fuel. Cards were handed over to the users of Labour Board by Shreemayee Mishra, Chairperson OB & OCWW Board, Govt of Odisha.

This event was attended by Nibedita Biswal- OSD, Sujit Kumar Patnaik-DLC, Dharashree Mohapatra-DLO and Gyana Ranjan Sahu-Accounts Officer.

Mishra also emphasized on the implementation of Fleet Card in Department of Labour and ESI for the first time in Odisha and advised to implement Technology for ease and paperless or cashless transactions.

For the ease of fuelling the vehicle, HDFC Bank has started this program for Corporate and Fleet Operator. The corporate will buy inventory with this purchase credit card. The department will get multiple credit period option to settle the amount to the Bank after receiving a consolidated invoice after a billing cycle.

HDFC Bank is also committed to providing world-class services and Digital Banking Solutions to the Labour Board in Odisha.

Animesh Biswal Vice President HDFC Bank and Gobinda Behera, Govt Banking Head and Senior Bank officials were present in the event.
