Bhubaneswar: Manoj Kumar Mishra has been appointed as Principal Secretary of Electronics & lnformation Technology Department, Government of Odisha.
An official notification has been issued by the General Administration and Public Grievance Department in this regard.
Mishra will also remain in additional charge of Special Secretary to Government (Rail Co-ordination), Commerce & Transport Department, as per the notification.
The key appointment came after Mishra’s resignation from lndian Railway Traffic Service accepted by the Ministry of Railways.
Mishra has played an instrumental role in the transformation of IT sector in the Odisha. He has also played a crucial role in bringing several IT firms to the State.
