Odisha: Minimum Night Temperature Likely to Rise 2 to 3 Degree Celsius during Next Two Days

Bhubaneswar: The minimum night temperature is very likely to rise by two to three degree Celsius during the two days at many places in Odisha, informed Meteorological Centre Bhubaneswar on Monday.

“Minimum temperature (night temperature) is very likely to rise by 2-3 degree Celsius during next two days at many places and no large change thereafter over the districts of Odisha”, the Metrological Centre said.

Day-1 :- (Valid upto 0830 hrs IST of 30.01.2024) Shallow to moderate fog is very likely to occur at a few places over the districts of Coastal Odisha, Angul, Dhenkanal, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj and at one or two places over the rest districts of Odisha.
Day 2: (Valid from 0830 hrs IST of 30.01.2024 to 0830 hrs IST of 31.01.2024)
Shallow to moderate fog is very likely to occur at a few places over the districts of Coastal Odisha and at one or two places over the districts of Interior Odisha.

In the last 24 hours, G Udayagiri in Kandhamal district was the coldest place in the state recording 7 3 degree Celsius. Other places where the night temperatures were below or around 10 3degree Celsius include Sundargarh (8.6 degree Celsius), Kirei (9 degree Celsius), Phulbani (9.5 degree Celsius), Semiliguda (9.6degree Celsius), Angul and Koraput (10 degree Celsius), Daringbadi, (10.5 degree Celsius), Bargarh (10.6 degree Celsius) Rourkela (10.7 degree Celsius), Jharsuguda and Keonjhar (10.8 3 degree Celsius) each, it added.
