Odisha Minister Asks CDVOs to Remove Stray Dogs from Roads after Hyderabad Incident

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Fisheries & Animal Resources Development Minister Ranendra Pratap Swain has asked the CDVOs of all districts to remove stray dogs from roads in the State.

The direction from the Minister came following a shocking incident, in which as four-year-old boy was mauled to death by stray dogs in Hyderabad.

The Minister has urged the CDVOs to be strictly vigilant and remove stray dogs from road. He also asked them to take immediate and proper action regarding this.

“Seeing this horrifying incident at Hyderabad, I have directed respective CDVO’s of all 30 districts of #Odisha to be strictly vigilant and remove stray dogs from road. CDVO’s have also been instructed to take immediate & proper action regarding this”, Swain said.
