Bhubaneswar: Odisha has been witnessing cold wave conditions with the drop in night temperature in several places.
As per the India Meteorological Department, the night temperature has dropped below 15 degree Celsius at 15 places in the State.
G Udayagiri in Kandhamal district recorded the lowest temperature of 9.6 degree Celsius, followed by Similguda in Koraput district saw night temperature falling to 10.3 degree Celsius.
Other places such as Phulbani in Kandhamal district recorded 11.5 degree Celsius, Kirei in Sundargarh district 11.7 degree Celsius, Daringbadi in Kandhamal district 12 degree Celsius, Koraput 12 degree Celsius, Jharsuguda 12.6 degree Celsius, Bhawanipatna in Kalahandi district 12.8 degree Celsius, Keonjhar 13.2 degree Celsius, Chiplima in Sambalpur 13.2 degree Celsius, Deogarh 13.6 degree Celsius, Sundargarh 14 degree Celsius, Boudh 14 degree Celsius, Hirakud 14.7 degree Celsius and Angul 15 degree Celsius.
Twin cities of Bhubaneswar and Cuttack recorded minimum temperatures of 17.1 degree Celsius and 17 degree Celsius respectively.
