Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) today published a detailed advertisement for recruitment of 7540 regular teachers for government secondary schools under the School and Mass Education Department.
The details of about the posts have been published at the official website of OSCC – www.ossc.gov.in.
The 7540 posts include 1970 TGT Arts teachers, 1419 TGT Science PCM teachers, 1205 TGT Science CBZ teachers, 1352 Hindi teachers, 723 Sanskrit teachers, 84 Physical education teachers, 24 Urdu teachers and 6 Telugu teachers.
The OSSC said that the selection process will consist of preliminary examination and main written examination. Both preliminary and main will be computer based recruitment examination with multiple choice questions.
The examinations will be available in both Odia and English medium except language paper.
Online application will be open from 11th of December, 2022 to 9th of January, 2023. Syllabus for preliminary and main examination has been included in the detailed advertisement.
The OSCC further stated that it proposes to share marks obtained by individual applicant in preliminary and main examination with the candidate after the result is published.
