Bhubaneswar: In a major boost to millet cultivation in Odisha, a “Ragi Thresher and Pearler” from
Odisha University of Agriculture & Technology (OUAT) has been granted a Patent by the Patent Office, Government of India.
This has been informed by Ranendra Pratap Swain, Minister, Agriculture & FE and Fisheries & ARD.
The Minister said that he was delighted to share that “Ragi Thresher and Pearler” from OUAT has been granted a Patent.
He also congratulated the entire institution for the great achievement and hoped that it will be beneficial for Odisha’s agri-related works.
“Delighted to share that “Ragi Thresher and Pearler” from OUAT has been granted a Patent. Congratulations to the entire institution for the great achievement. I hope it will be beneficial for Odisha’s agri-related works”, he tweeted.
