Bhubaneswar: All India Congress Committee (AICC) has dissolved Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee to restructure the party in the state.
“Congress President approved the proposal of the complete dissolution of Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee (OPCC) including the PCC president, officer bearers, executive committee, district/block/mandal congress committees, frontal organisations, departments, and cells with immediate effect”, the AICC said in a press release.
However, the current district committee presidents will serve as acting presidents until new presidents are appointed.
