Bhubaneswar: Odisha has been ranked first in unemployment rate in the country with a score of 0.9%, according to data from the Centre for Monitoring Indian Economy (CMIE).
While the national unemployment rate stands at 8.30% as on December 31, 2022, Odisha’s unemployment rate stands at 0.9%.
The State has also recorded one of the lowest unemployment rates (1.1%) during November 2022, as per the CMIE report.
Effective policy decisions and successful implementation of schemes have enabled Odisha to achieve lowering unemployment rate in the country.
“With effective policy decisions & successful implementation of schemes, Odisha is ranked 1st in unemployment rate in the country with a score of 0.9%, as per the report by CMIE. The state also recorded one of the lowest unemployment rates (1.1%) during NOV 2022”, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik said.
