Puri: An assistant engineer of Rural Development Department has come under the scanner of Vigilance Department for allegedly possessing disproportionate assets.
The vigilance sleuths on Tuesday conducted simultaneous house raids of Dusmanta Dehury, Asst Engineer, RD, Nimapara Dist- Puri.
The simultaneous house searches are being conducted by Odisha Vigilance led by 5 DSPs, 12 Inspectors and other staff on the strength of search warrants issued by Special Judge, Vigilance, Dhenkanal.
The raids are carried out at Dehury’s residential flat at Sailashri Vihar, Bhubaneswar; triple storyed building at Chandrashekharpur, Bhubaneswar; office at Nimapara, Puri; house at native village Gunadei, PSMatanga, Dhenkanal; two buildings at Dhenkanal town; residential house of relative at Dhenkanal town and structures located in land at Saptasajya, Dhenkanal.
Search is underway, the vigilance said.
