Bhubaneswar: As per the direction of the Election Commission of India (ECI), re-polling will be held in two booths in Kantamal Assembly constituency under Kandhamal parliament segment.
This has been informed by the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO)Odisha.
The re-polling will be held in the Booth No-26 and Booth No-28 on May 23.
The voting will begin at 7.00 AM and will continue till 4.00 PM on the scheduled day.
Direction has been issued to the district election officer-cum-Collectors of Boudh and Kandhamal districts to inform all the candidates of the Kandhamal Lok Sabha constituency and Kantamal Assembly constituency and all the voters of the said booths regarding the re-polling, the CEO said through the press release.
The ECI order came in wake of allegations of booth rigging and other irregularities.
