Bhubaneswar: Odisha has recorded 27 per cent deficit rainfall from June 1 to July 10 in the current monsoon season, informed the Meteorological Centre Bhubaneswar of India Meteorological Department on Monday.
During the current monsoon season, the State has received 222.7 mm of rainfall from June 1 to July 10, which is 27 per cent less than the normal rainfall of 304.2 mm.
During this period, Deogarh district recorded maximum rainfall of 452.4 mm which is 48% more than the normal rainfall.
Similarly, Kalahandi district has recorded the lowest percentage of rainfall with 123.8 mm which is 66% less than the normal rainfall, the metrological centre said.
