Odisha Registers 23 New Omicron Cases

Bhubaneswar: With 23 new Omicron cases detected in Odisha on Sunday, the total number of infections caused by the new COVID-19 variant rose to 37 in the State.

Of the new cases, 11 are returnees from Finland, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Dubai and Syria, 10 are local cases, and remaining two are contacts of Finland returnees, according to the reports.

Odisha had reported the first two Omicron cases on December 21.
