Bhubaneswar: A retired clerk at the office of DI of Schools in Khordha district has been sentenced to three years imprisonment in a bribery case.
“Bidyadhar Baliarsingh, Ex-Senior Clerk(retd), O/o DI of Schools, #Khurdha, who was charge sheeted by #Odisha #Vigilance vide Special Judge, Vig, BBSR TR No 7/2010 for taking bribe, was convicted by the Court to 3 yrs jail and fine”, the Vigilance said.
Odisha Vigilance said that it will now move the competent authority for stoppage of pension of Baliarsingh following his conviction.
