Bhubaneswar: Six places in Odisha have recorded maximum day temperatures of 43 degrees Celsius or above on Tuesday.
The places are Angul, Jharsuguda, Sambalpur, Hirakud, Balangir and Sonepur, informed the Metrological Centre Bhubaneswar.
Sonepur recorded the highest temperature of 44.2 degrees Celsius.
