Bhubaneswar: A state-level training programme on Crash, iRAD & e-DAR was inaugurated on Wednesday for the police and transport department officials of the Odisha Government.
The programme was inaugurated by Transport Commissioner Amitabh Thakur and Police Commissioner Soumendra Priyadarshi.
The police officials of all 567 police stations of the State and 70 Transport Department officials will participate in the training.
There will be 17 batches of training at 8 locations with 45 participants in each batch. The knowledge partners for the training are JP Research India Ltd. & NIC, India.
The training will enhance the skills of the officers for investigating a road crash with a holistic approach, the State Transport Authority (STA) said.
