Odisha STF Seizes Leopard Skin; Wildlife Criminal Detained

Balangir: The Odisha Crime Branch Special Task Force along with Bolangir Forest officials have seized a leopard skin and other incriminating materials during a raid conducted at Tikrapada-Saintala under Saintala police station limits of Bolangir district. One wildlife criminal has also been detained in the case.

Since 2020, the Crime Branch STF has been on mission mode and has seized 28 leopard skins, 24 elephant tusks, seven deer skins, 13 live pangolins, 30 kgs of pangolin scales, two leopard teeth, 29 leopard claws and 46 live wild parrots. It has also arrested 68 wildlife criminals during the said period.
