Odisha To Get Respite From Heat And Humidity From 5th August

Bhubaneswar: With the monsoon trough moving southwards, the maximum day temperature is likely to fall by two to three degrees in the state from tomorrow onwards. The state is also likely to experience cloudy sky with normal temperature.

The Met Department has predicted that rain activity in Odisha will intensify from 5th August and ten districts have been issued warning for heavy rains.

The southern districts may get low to medium rains. The state is expected to get heavy rains by 7th August, with four districts – Malkangiri, Koraput, Gajapati and Ganjam, being given warning of very to very heavy rainfall. The Met has also predicted heavy rains in Rayagada, Nabarangpur, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Puri, Khordha, Jagatsinghpur, Cuttack, Dhenkanal, Kendrapada, Jajpur and Nuapada districts from 7th August.
