Odisha Vigilance Apprehends , Dhenkanal DSP In-charge Abhinav Dalua While Taking Bribe Of Rs 30,000

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Vigilance sleuths today apprehended Abhinav Dalua, DSP in-charge, Sadar Police Station, Dhenkanal, while taking bribe Rs 30,000. He was taking the bribe from a coal transporter to facilitate his business. The complainant paid Rs 15,000 on 24th August to avoid harassment, but Abhinav still demanded more.

The complainant approached the Vigilance Department, following which Abhinav was nabbed while taking further Rs 30,000. Following the trap, simultaneous searches were launched at eight places in Khurda, Dhenanal, Balasore and Keonjhar led by one Additional SP, nine DSPs and eight Inspectors.
