Odisha Vigilance Registers Highest Number of DA Cases in Country

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Vigilance has registered the highest number of DA (Disproportionate Assets) cases in the country, as per the latest finding of the National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB).
In line with the Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik’s zero tolerance policy towards corruption, the State Vigilance has recorded 92 DA cases against corrupt government officials in 2021, the highest in the country.

The Chief Minister has always stressed on the significance of transparency in the administration. He has made it very clear that corruption and dishonesty has no place in the public life.

The State Government has a strict policy of zero tolerance and the Chief Minister has given a free hand to the enforcement agencies to nail the corrupt officials.

As per latest NCRB report, the Odisha Vigilance has detected the highest number of DA cases in the country.

The State Vigilance has also registered 98 trap cases and 75 cases on the allegation of criminal misconduct in 2021.

Tamil Nadu and Karnataka are in second and third positions respectively with 70 and 42 DA cases during the period, as per the report.
