Odisha Vigilance Unearths Properties Worth Crores from Ke Gaon Forest Range Officer

Bhubaneswar: The vigilance sleuths on Wednesday unearthed properties worth over crores from Ke Gaon Forest Range Officer Keshab Majhi, who has come under scanner of vigilance for allegedly possessing disproportionate assets.

During the searches on the properties linked to Majhi and his family members, the vigilance officers unearthed cash worth Rs 2,78,640; one triple storeyed building constructed in 2020 at OMM Nagar, Kesinga in Kalahandi district worth over Rs.1.18 crore; 4 plots in and around Kesinga town.

The anti-corruption officials found 446 grams of gold jewellery, 320 grams of silver ornaments and two four wheelers.

The vigilance sleuths also found bank and Insurance deposits, which are under verification.
