Bhubaneswar: Odisha weightlifter Jhilli Dalabehera has clinched the bronze medal at the 37th National Games being held at Campal Open Ground in Panjim, Goa.
She has bagged the medal in the 49kg Category with an impressive total weight of 167kg.
Gyaneshwari Yadav of Chhattisgarh won the Gold Medal with an impressive total weight of 177 kg and Haryana’s Preeti bagged the Silver medal in this category.
Notably, the Odisha Government has announced cash incentives for the State’s medalists in the 37th edition of the National Games.
A Gold Medalist will be awarded Rs 5 lakh, Silver Medalist will get Rs 3 lakh and Bronze Medalist will be felicitated with Rs 2 lakh, for both individual and team events, according to the Odisha Sports and Youth Services Department.
