New Delhi: Odisha’s Gajapati district occupied the top position in overall Delta Rankings under Aspirational District Program for the month of August 2021, released by the government think tank Niti Aayog on Friday.
Gajapati district stood number one in over all Delta Rank out of 117 Districts all over the country.
“Delta Rankings under Aspirational District Program for the month of Aug 2021 has been released today & Gajapati District stood at No.1 in over all Delta Rank out of 117 Districts all over the Country. The Delta Rankings took into account incremental progress made by aspirational districts across six developmental areas. Health and nutrition, education, agriculture and water resources, financial inclusion, skill development and basic infrastructure were the development areas that were taken into consideration for the ranking. Aspirational districts programme, launched in January 2018, aims to transform districts that have shown relatively lesser progress in key social areas.
