Bhubaneswar: Iswar Chandra Nayak, a teacher from Government Upper Primary School at Kanapur in Puri district, has received the National Awards to Teachers 2022.
President Droupadi Murmu has conferred the award on the occasion of Teachers Day at Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi.
Nayak is among the 46 best teachers selected for the prestigious award.
The award carries a certificate of merit, a cash award of Rs 50,000 and a silver medal.
