New Delhi: Odisha’s Sambhab Mishra has received the Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar (PMRBP) award on Monday.
President Droupadi Murmu conferred the award to 16-year old Sambhav Mishra for his outstanding contribution in the field of art and culture.
The President conferred the Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar, 2023 to 11 exceptional children at Vigyan Bhawan here in the presence of the Minister of Women and Child Development, Smriti Zubin Irani and Minister of State Dr. Munjpara Mahendrabhai.
Mishra has written many essays and books. He has also been awarded the prestigious Fellowship of the Prestigious Royal Asiatic Society of London, the highest honour in South Asian Humanities for his contribution in Indian mythology and socio-economic ‘and cultural happenings.
