Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) has issued a fresh notification inviting online applications from candidates for recruitment to junior assistant (Group C) posts.
The link for online application and submission will be available from April 22 to May 23 on the official website of the OPSC – www.opsc.gov.in.
As many as 15 Junior Assistants (UR – 6 Posts, SEBC – 1 Post, SC- 3 Posts and ST – 5 Posts) will be recruited during this recruitment drive.
A candidate must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from any University and must have adequate knowledge of basic Computer Skill.
A candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must not be above the age of 38 years as on January 1, 2022. Relaxation will be given to candidates belonging to reserved categories as per guidelines.
The examination fee has been exempted for all the categories of candidates.
The selection of candidates for recruitment to the posts will be made through a competitive examination and Skill Test to be conducted by the Commission.
The written examination for the post of Junior Assistant shall be held at Balasore, Berhampur, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack and Sambalpur depending on the number of candidates from the respective zone. The programme of the examination shall be notified well in advance, the Commission said.
