Sambalpur: The consumption of paan and gutkha has been strictly prohibited in the premises of Maa Samalei temple in Sambalpur district.
The ban will come into effect from April 14.
A decision in this regard has been taken by the Samaleswari Temple Trust Board, as per reports.
No person, including servants, police personnel, devotees etc will be allowed to consume paan or gutkha inside the temple. Action will be taken against the violation, the Samaleswari Temple Trust Board stated.
