Berhampur: A pall of gloom descended on De Paul School, Berhampur as one of their teachers died in a tragic road accident on Thursday.
The deceased teacher has been identified as Sarita Das.
“Very sad to note that Ms.Sarita Das, (teacher, De Paul School) had an accident on her way to school. She has succumbed to her injuries”, the school said in a message.
Fr. Saju Antony CM, Principal of De Paul School, has expressed deep shock and profound grief over the untimely demise of Sarita Das.
He conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family members of Das and prayed peace to the departed soul.
A pall of gloom descended on the school with teachers, students and staff members expressing their condolences.
Meanwhile, the classes of students were suspended following the incident.
