Bhubaneswar: The results of the Plus 2 Examinations Science and Commerce streams conducted by the Council of Higher Secondary Education Odisha have been declared. School and Mass Education Minister released the results today at the Council Office. While the pass percentage of Science stood at 84.93, in Commerce 81.12 percent students have passed.
While 93,734 students appeared for the regular examinations in the Science stream, 78,938 have passed with 39573 of them securing first division. Likewise, 24,257 students secured Second division and 14,852 students got third division. In ex-regular category, 256 students have passed. The number of students securing above 90 percent stood at 358. This year 291 schools have secured 100 percent results.
Only two schools have reported zero percent results. While Nayagarh secured the highest pass percentage at 96.41, Gajapati reported the lowest pass percentage at 61.55.
In Commerce stream, 24082 students appeared the Annual Examinations from which 19536 passed the examinations. While 7410 students secured first division in Commerce, 4543 students secured second division. 7492 students have secured third division. In ex-regular category, 91 students have passed the examinations. The number of students scoring 90 percent and above stood at 102 in Commerce. 94 Higher secondary schools reported 100 percent results.
