President Droupadi Murmu Condoles Loss of Lives in Puri Firecracker Explosion, Wishes Speedy Recovery to Injured

Bhubaneswar: President of India Droupadi Murmu on Thursday condoled the loss of lives in the Puri firecracker explosion incident.

The President wished a speedy recovery to the injured persons who are undergoing treatment.

ପୁରୀରେ ଚନ୍ଦନ ଯାତ୍ରା ସମୟରେ ବାଣ ବିସ୍ଫୋରଣ ଘଟି କିଛି ଲୋକଙ୍କ ମୃତ୍ୟୁ ହୋଇଥିବା ଜାଣି ମୁଁ ଖୁବ୍ ଦୁଃଖିତ । ମୃତକଙ୍କ ଶୋକସନ୍ତପ୍ତ ପରିବାରବର୍ଗଙ୍କୁ ଗଭୀର ସମବେଦନା ଜଣାଇବା ସହ ସମସ୍ତ ଆହତଙ୍କ ଆଶୁ ଆରୋଗ୍ୟ କାମନା କରୁଛି ।

Earlier today, Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on visited Sum Ultimate Hospital in Bhubaneswar to meet the injured persons.

The Chief Minister consulted with the main doctors and advised them to provide the best treatment to the injured persons. He met the families of the injured and wished them a speedy recovery.

The Chief Minister also announced ex-gratia of Rs 4 lakh for the next of kin of the deceased.

Three persons died and 30 others were injured in the firecracker explosion.
