President’s Visit: 40 Platoon Forces To Be Deployed For Security

Bhubaneswar: President Droupadi Murmu will be on a two-day visit to Odisha from 10th February. All preparations are in full swing for her visit. Foolproof security apparatus is being put in place for the visit of the President. Odisha Police will deploy forty platoons of police forces and more than 200 officers will be mobilised during the visit.

According to sources, plain-clothed police personnel and rooftop security forces will also be engaged. President Murmu is scheduled to attend the Convocation Ceremony of Rama Devi Women’s University in Bhubaneswar and visit the famous Lord Lingaraj Temple, among other programmes. President Murmu will also attend the Foundation Day of Jnanaprabha Mission as Chief Guest to be held at Utkal Mandap. On her second day of the visit, President Murmu will to Cuttack to inaugurate the Second Indian Rice Congress at ICAR – National Rice Research Institute.
