Bhubaneswar: The proposal for metro rail services in Odisha is under consideration, said Housing & Urban Development Minister Pratap Jena in the Assembly on Tuesday.
Replying to a question raised by Congress MLA Tara Prasad Bahinipati, the Minister said that the State Government is considering roping in consultancies to conduct a feasibility study to operate the metro train between Cuttack, Bhubaneswar, Khordha, Jatni, and Puri.
Jena added that there is no proposal to run any tram to connect various towns in Koraput district.
