Puri: A high level meeting was held under the chairmanship of Puri Collector Samarth Verma at the circuit house here on Wednesday to discuss about the preparations for the smooth conduct of the annual Rath Yatra 2023 of Lord Jagannath.
At the meeting, various discussions relating to crowd management, safety, health, rituals and others issues were carried out on the smooth conduct of the grand festival.
The temple administration, the district administration and the police department shared their views regarding the preparations for Rath Yatra 2023.
Puri SP Dr. Kanwar Vishal Singh and officials of all departments attended the meeting where detailed discussions were held on the upcoming Akshaya Tritiya, Chandan Yatra, Debasnana Purnima and Rath Yatra.
