Bhubaneswar: Odisha’s pilgrim city Puri, the land of Lord Jagannath, has been adjudged as the most booked spiritual and pilgrimage destination, as per the OYO’s Travelopedia 2023.
OYO Hotels and Homes has released its annual travel trends index- Travelopedia 2023 which highlights key trends that have shaped travel experiences for over 93 million Oyo for a period from January 1 to December 1, 2023.
According to the OYO Travelopedia 2023, Puri is the most ooked spiritual and pilgrimage destination, followed by Amritsar, Varanasi, and Haridwar.
Puri for its golden beach and temple of Lord Jagannath attracts visitors from across the country throughout the year.
Hyderabad was the most booked city in India in 2023 followed by Bengaluru, Delhi, and Kolkata. Uttar Pradesh was the most visited state in the year followed by Maharashtra, Telangana, and Andhra Pradesh, the report stated.
