Ranendra Pratap Swain Appointed as Pro-tem Speaker of Odisha Legislative Assembly
Bhubaneswar: Senior BJD leader and Athagarh MLA Ranendra Pratap Swain has been appointed as the Pro-tem Speaker of the Odisha Legislative Assembly.
Swain has been appointed as the Pro-tem Speaker of the Assembly by Governor Raghubar Das.
He will take oath at the Raj Bhawan tomorrow.
The newly-elected MLAs will take oath at the Odisha Assembly on June 18 and 19.
The Speaker of the Assembly will be elected on June 20, as per reports.
