Ratha Katha Chirata Ritual Begins; Chariot Construction To begin From Akshaya Tritiya

Cuttack: The customary Ratha Katha Chirata ritual for the world famous Ratha Yatra of Puri began today at the Khapuria Saw Mill of Odisha Forest Development Corporation in Cuttack.

The ceremony was held on the auspicious occasion of Sri Rama Navami.

The ritual was initiated in the presence of three members who came from Puri with the Angyan Mala. The construction of the three chariots will begin on the day of Akhsaya Tritiya.
