Puri: One of the most important rituals of Ratha Yatra of Lord Jagannath, the Adapa Mandapa Bije will be conducted today afternoon. The three siblings – Lord Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra and Goddess Subhadra along with Lord Sudarshan will be taken in a procession to the Janma Bedi in the Gundicha Temple. The Trinity will be moved to the Adapa Mandapa in Goti Pahandi after 4 pm today. This will be conducted after the Sandhya Alati and Dhupa rituals. As the Ratha Yatra is being organized in strict adherence to Covid protocols and the Supreme Court orders, no devotees are allowed to participate in the rituals.
The world famous Ratha Yatra was conducted yesterday and the three chariots of the deities – Taladhwaja, Darpadalan and Nandighosa reached the Gundicha Temple much before the scheduled time.
