Bhubaneswar: Rourkela cyclists Rohit Hembram and Ssakshat Patra have shined at the Golden Triangle Cycling Championship 2022 held here on Sunday.
Rohit Hembram and Ssakshat Patra bagged the Gold and Silver while Jamshedpur’s Avneet Singh won the Bronze in the championship.
This championship was held for the 4th consecutive year and is the only competitive cycling competition in the State.
More than 75 professional cyclists participated in this road cycling championship covering a total distance of 151 kms from Dhauli to Chandrabaga beach and back.
Odisha Sports Secretary Vineel Krishna graced the closing ceremony as the Chief Guest and handed over the trophies, medals and cash awards to the winners.
