Sambalpur: A meeting on NTFP (Non Timber Forest Product ) was held today at Kuchinda under the Chairmanship of Sub Collector, Kuchinda and in presence of PA,ITDA, BM-TDCC and ITDA staff.
At the meeting it is decided that this season Sal seeds procurement will be done and the preliminary assessment is of 8000 Quintals.
NTFP infrastructures like Cold chain, pack house, ripening chamber and Haat pindi development will be given emphasize. The alienation and plan estimation will be done in next week.
Mango pickle and other processing training under ORMAS cluster establishment will be start from next week onwards. The equipment and other value addition planning will be done shortly after discussion with community, according to an official statement.
