Sambalpur: The Excise officials on Wednesday seized 40 Kgs of Ganja in Sambalpur and arrested two persons in this connection.
Alekh Pradhan SI and Dillip Kumar Ratha SI of Excise along with staff of EI & EB Unit, Sambalpur seized the Ganja along with one four wheeler at Sason check gate of Sambalpur district.
In this connection two accused persons Deepak Kumar Singh and Mukund Yadav of Jharkhand has been arrested while transporting the Ganja from Rayagada district to Jharkhand.
The approximate value of seized Ganja including vehicle is Rs, 9 lakh.
