Sambalpur: The Odisha Vigilance Department officials are carrying out searches at multiple places in relation to the allegations of disproportionate assets of Bandita Mohapatra, former Planning Member of Sambalpur Development Authority and Laxmi Narayan Samal, Junior Clerk. Simultaneous searches are being conducted by Odisha Vigilance at nine places. Six DSPs, nine Inspectors, six ASIs and other staff are conducting searches on search warrants issued by Spl Judge, Vigilance, SBP at locations in Bhubaneswar, Sambalpur and Angul. Both were arrested earlier by SBP Police for forgery and issue of fake building plan approvals.
