Puri: The schedule of rituals at Puri Srimandir has been revised on the day of lunar eclipse which will occur on Kartika Purnima on November 8.
A decision in this regard was taken a crucial meeting attended by Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) officials, district administration officials, members of rituals sub-committee and servitors of Chhatisha Nijog.
Informing about the revised schedule, Puri Collector Samarth Verma said that‘Dwara Phita’ ritual will be completed by 12.10 am which will be followed by Mangala Arati. ‘Rajadhiraj Besha’ of the deities will be held at 2.30 am. Bhoga Mandap rituals will be completed by 5.50 am.
‘Paka Tyaga’ will start at 5.54 am instead of 8.29 am on November 8.
