Sea of People Welcome Naveen at Hinjili as Development Initiatives Takes Center Stage

Hinjilicut: Son of the soil and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today visited his constituency Hinjili and ushered in a new dawn of development with inauguration and laying of foundation of a number of welfare projects.

On his second leg of his one-day visit to Ganjam district, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik addressed a huge gathering of people at Hinjili. He also inaugurated and laid the foundation stones of a slew of developmental projects worth Rs 590 crore for six Blocks and two Urban Local Bodies of Ganjam.

Addressing the people present, Naveen said he is very happy to be in Hinjili. “The initiation of the development projects will add a new chapter to the development of Hinjili and Ganjam. I am very happy that 20000 beneficiaries will receive the Gramakanta Patta today. In Hinjili alone, more than 4500 people will get the pattas. I am very happy that the Mission Shakti mothers are doing a grate work. I want the mothers to become entrepreneurs – and become SHGs to SMEs. For this, the state government will provide all help. Mission Shakti mothers are being given zero interest loans upto Rs 5 lakhs. Today, loans of more than Rs 156 crore were handed over here. With the development of the mothers, the country and the society will develop. Our farmers are also being given zero interest loans of upto Rs One Lakh. Biju Swasthya Kalyana Yojana and 5T Schools Transformation are two milestones in these sectors. In Ganjam more than 50000 people have benefitted through the BSKY. For this, the government has spent more than Rs 190 lakhs. Ganjam is a leading district. The labour and effort of the people of Ganjam have made Ganjam a leading district. With you continuous cooperation, Ganjam can become the number one district of the country.”

CM Naveen flagged off the battery operated Mission Shakti farm fresh vegetable karts during the occasion and also distributed interest free loan cheques to 614 SGH groups worth Rs 155 Crore. He also handed over Gramakantha Pattas to the beneficiaries.
