Senior BJD Leader Prasanna Acharya Seriously Injured in Road Accident, Admitted In ICU

Sambalpur: Senior Biju Janata Dal leader Prasanna Acharya was seriously injured in a road accident. According to reports, the accident occurred at Beladihi near Rairakhol on the Sambalpur – Rairakhol National Highway 55, when a petrol tanker hit his car late last night. He was returning to Bargarh from Bhubaneswar. He has been admitted in the ICU of a private hospital in Sambalpur and his condition is said to be critical. According to the hospital sources, he received multiple injuries in his head and face.

The Police has detained the driver of the tanker and investigating the incident. The PSO of Prasanna Acharya also received serious injuries.
