Bhubaneswar: Several places in Odisha are likely to witness maximum day temperature of 40 degree Celsius to 45 degree Celsius for next four days, as per the Meteorological Centre Bhubaneswar.
The day temperature in places such as Jharsuguda, Sambalpur, Balangir, Sundargarh, Boudh, Titlagarh, Rourkela, Sonepur, Angul, Bargarh, Bhawanipatna, Deogarh and Nuapada are likely to be 40°C to 45°C.
“As per the forecast given by Meteorological Centre Bhubaneswar, the day temperature for next 4 days likely to be 40°C to 45°C over a few districts. People are advised to avoid outdoor activities during peak hours unless it is absolutely necessary”, the Odisha State Disaster Management Authority informed.
