Baripada: The Similipal National Park authorities have decided to reopen the National Park for visitors from 14th October. The Park was closed for visitors for five months during the monsoon. Usually, the park is reopened in the month of November but this year it is being opened in October so that large number of visitors can visit the second largest biosphere reserve of Asia. As the festive season starts and holidays around, people in large numbers are likely to visit the National Park.
The Park has also night stay facilities for the visitors. A special guideline has been made for entry of visitors into the Park and entry pass can be availed at the booking counter. The park authorities have started facilities for Adventure Sports, Jungle Safari, Mountain Cycling etc. for the visitors.
