Singer Collapses On Stage During Durga Puja Event In Jeypore; Doctors Declare Him Dead

Jeypore: In a sad incident, a prominent singer of Koraput district Murali Mahapatra collapsed on the stage during a Durga Puja event and died. He had performed a few songs and enthralled the audiences just munities before he collapsed on the stage. He was immediately taken to the hospital where the doctors declared him brought dead. A pal of gloom descended in the town due to the tragic incident. The cultural event was organized at Raja Nahar Puja Mandap. Murali was wel known for his singing in the district. He was also working as a clerk.
