Berhampur: Smoke came out from Dibrugarh-Kanyakumari Vivek Express near Berhampur Railway Station in Odisha’s Ganjam district on Tuesday.
Smoke was seen emanating from the bottom part of a coach before the Berhampur Railway Station.
The train was stopped due to pulling of chain by the passengers in fear. Some passengers got down from the train.
Meanwhile, the railway official said that there was not an incident of fire mishap. The cause of the smoke was not due to fire. A sack was stuck in a wheel of the train that caused the smoke.
After the inspection, the train started running again, as per reports.
