Bhubaneswar: Sonepur witnessed scorching heat on Tuesday with day temperature touching 44.4 degree Celsius.
With 44.4°C, Sonepur has become the hottest place in Odisha, following by Balangir with 44.3 degree Celsius, according to the Meteorological Centre, Bhubaneswar.
Meanwhile, the IMD said that there will be no large change in Maximum temperature (Day Temperature) during next 2 days. On Thursday and Friday, there will be a slight fall by about 2 degrees across Odisha. Maximum temperature will be more than 40 degrees at many places over interior Odisha, it added.
