Bhubaneswar: The meeting of the State Council of Ministers and the state Cabinet will be held today under the leadership of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik.
The Council of Ministers meeting will be held today at 5.30 pm and the Cabinet will meet at 5.45 pm. Today’s meetings assume significance as the winter session of the Odisha Assembly is going to start from the 24th of this month.
The meetings are expected to approve the supplementary Budget of the Government of Odisha.
The Cabinet is likely to discuss and approve about ten proposals of various departments including the General Administration, Sports and Youth Services, Health and Family Welfare, Revenue and Disaster Management, Housing and Urban Development, Panchayatiraj and Drinking Water, Water Resources, Finance and Tourism.
